The Nike Women’s Air Zoom Alphafly Next Percent 2 uses a full-length carbon plate to aide propulsion, and give a smooth transition through your stride, but the ZoomX foam in the midsole provides cushioning, and heap of energy return to keep you bouncing through your run as well. So when Nike make the rubber outsole thinner, allowing them to increase the amount of ZoomX foam and stay within legal racing limits, you can expect an even more responsive ride than before. They have also made the forefoot and heel slightly wider for a more solid base, giving increased confidence when taking tricky course corners, and of course they kept the bouncy Air Zoom Units to help drive you on to record times. The upper uses Atomknit, part of their Flyknit family of fabrics it is incredibly lightweight, super breathable and offers a contoured fit. A lightweight heel lockdown is achieved through Flyknit lofted heel pods to give a secure, repeatable fit that reduces pressure on the laces.
