Continuing adi’s sprint through the archives of speed, the adidas F50 Ghosted adizero UCL sees the F50 adizero Prime of 2011 given the remake treatment, pairing the superlight upper of the original with the modern carbon fibre soleplate of the X Ghosted.Decked out in the iconic colours of the UEFA Champions League, the sleek, streamlined upper is again made with Sprintskin – the lightweight, slightly adhesive microfibre material that enhances touch as well as speed. You’ll also notice the refined tongue and heel section that made the OG Prime so comfortable.
Underfoot, the F50 Ghosted adizero UCL utilises the sprint spike-inspired plate from the X Ghosted .1, which is specially designed for instant acceleration. Its raised forefoot combines with arrowhead traction for maximum forward propulsion, while omnidirectional studs at the heel allow quick changes of direction so you ghost past opponents in the blink of an eye.
